Our selection of Eruca sativa boasts less deeply- lobed leaves and a milder flavor than wild arugula. The medium green leaves of Astro are wide at the top, with a slight cut to the outer edge. They have a pleasant, nutty flavor that will grow stronger as the weather warms. Slow to bolt; however, once it flowers, the tiny blooms can also be added to salads for a peppery flavor. Early maturing yet heat tolerant, Astro is ready to harvest from direct sow for baby leaf at 32-35 days and for mature leaves at 52- 55 days

Favas are a popular bean in the Mediterranean, where they are used both as a fresh shell bean or left on the plant to dry. Our variety is easy to grow with strong, vigorous plants that are relatively tolerant of cooler conditions. The pods are dark green and shiny and produce a high ratio of three extra-large beans per pod. Pinching the first central shoots can encourage heavier yields. Suitable for outdoor culture in warm seasons and for greenhouse culture. Matures in about 80-90 days from direct sow.

A pole-type bean, also known as yard-long or asparagus bean. Slender 15 to 18 inch pods can be eaten lightly steamed or added to a stir-fry. Plants are vigorous and vining. Pods are slow to form seeds, remaining tender for extended harvest. Far superior to standard strains, as it is widely adapted and able to withstand cooler, drier conditions as well as warm, humid weather. Pods are ready to harvest in about 75-85 days from direct seeding.
