An outstanding, well adapted AAS winner that performs well in a wide variety of conditions. Under mild climates, it may be sown in spring, summer and fall. The heads are large and slightly flat with a short core and dark green, crinkled leaves. A heavy yielder and good choice for eating raw or cooked.

Storage #4 is an excellent-yielding storage type with a nice dark green color. This versatile variety also works great in the late fall for fresh market, especially in muddy and rainy conditions. Due to its earliness when used for storage, we recommend later season plantings for best storage results.
SuperStar cabbage offers excellent quality, flavor, texture, and harvest flexibility. The solid, green, medium to large round heads are protected by a strong-framed plant and multiple wrapper leaves. SuperStar can be used fresh or for processing and has excellent holding ability in the field and after harvest. This great tasting cabbage is Fusarium yellows race 1 resistant and black rot tolerant. It matures in about 80 days.
Stonehead is an early, medium- headed variety with tip burn tolerance. It has a compact plant with gray-green head color. Stonehead is an AAS Award Winner noted for its wide adaptability and excellent flavor and texture.
First introduced in the US in 1967, Headstart is an example of Sakata’s 100+ years of venerable vegetable breeding. Headstart is quick to mature at 60-70 days from transplant. The bright green, round/slightly flattened heads are compact and heavy. The small to medium sized Copenhagen-Market type heads are best used fresh for slaw, sauerkraut, or slow cooking.
